Atlantic Puffin (Newfoundland)
« on: August 08, 2011, 10:29:28 am »

Hello Everyone!

I am just back from a fantastic 3 week trip to Newfoundland. Puffins, Whales, Moose, Lobsters...What a wonderful province to visit!

I really wanted to try to get some shots of these guys on the water. If you have ever been to Newfoundland you know that this is not an easy task. Generally the viewing spots are all on high cliffs. Going out on the motorized boats is unlikely to yield successful results either. Therefore for me it was a no brainer to find a kayak to rent and get on out there!

I hope you like this one. All the best  :D

The trip sounds like entirely too much fun and the photo is another remarkable capture! Are you working towards publishing a book?

What a lovely Puffin shot.  And yes Newfoundland is a great province to visit!

I only got one half decent Puffin photo from our trip to Newfoundland in July of 2009 ... it was a shot of a post card Puffin that I purchased.
