hi, whats the factory modification? is it for fitting that special phase p20 type back?

It's so a the db20 (p20) and other rollei mount fitted phase back work without a wake up cable. Sinar and hassy backs work on the 6008 as well with the right adapters.

thanks. i was hoping there was another phase type back available that i hadn't heard of. i did see a p45 on the back of a specially modified rollei 6008 once, but it did not rotate. it was one for aerial photography i think.
