DNG Files will not open.

I have a Fuji S9600 and the files will not open in iphoto if I shoot Raw.
I have tried converting to DNG and that does not work either.
I have an Intel iMac with an ATI,RadeonHD2600 Graphics card.
Do Apple cater for Fuji or DNG files?
Is it pointless loading Aperture?

Hi Tink.
Your Fujifilm camera is
not currently supported by Aperture
, therefore it will not convert its RAW images.
Some people have reported trouble with DNG files.
Apple states
:
DNG files must be generated by the Adobe DNG Converter with the “Convert to Linear Image” option turned off.

Hi Kirby
My DNG Converter is version 6.4
I cannot find an option to "Convert to Linear Image".
In an early version, 1.3, there was the option to have the image "Linear demosaiced"
I have never exercised it or any similar option.

Tink -- I don't use Adobe DNG converter. Just reporting what Apple says, in the hope that it would be helpful.
