New Exhibition - Opening Today
« on: April 07, 2011, 02:37:20 am »

Dear Friends,

An exhibition of 'new photography' opens today that has a selection of my photographs from Iceland. This is a joint Exhibition put on by my gallery agent in conjunction with three other photographers. I know most of the audience here lives outside of Australia - but hopefully if there are some more 'locals' here they might be able to stop past for a visit.

Congratulations.  I wish I were in Australia, so that I might see the actual prints in full detail.

Why do all the good exhibitions occur on the wrong side of the earth these days?

Congratulations, Josh! I have admired your Iceland photos here a lot and wish I could see the prints.

Congrats from me too! I wish that travel to the other side of the earth could be done in a couple of minutes…

Thank you :-)

I was very surprised and flattered to arrive myself about an hour after the opening last night and find a good hundred+ people at the gallery - It was bedlam and I couldn't even get a car park. I have no idea what the final numbers were for the opening. But I would guess it was around 400 or so over the course of the evening.

Even though its the opposite side of the world I really appreciate your comments and congratulations. Its been very exciting for me and quite a trip to get to this point. Thanks again.
