1 out of 1000 or spending too much time for desirous results
« on: February 25, 2011, 09:41:56 am »

Here are two species that stay here year round.
A pair of California quail whose covey is surprisingly cooperative with one another, and a female calliope hummingbird that has hard fought the competition for feeding rights to the coveted fuchsias, bottlebrush, and nasturtiums in the farmyard to name a few.

Nice shots. I like the quail but there's a rather distracting black mark in the blurred pale area between them, which drew my eye. It should be trivial to remove.

Hi Jeremy thanks for saying-
yea, I don't monkey too much with the things in PP unless I'm outputting for print
Then I spend so much time and notice the original is better than the rendering,
so I have cut back on trying to correct flaws and errors once  I make an exposure
then maybe some degree of sharpening in cs4 output to web
no doubt the speck is a maintenance issue as I'm prone to rustic environments

That is the problem. If you don't spot your image then a comment will be forthcoming. If more than one you will then wish you had spotted the image. If it is an exceptional image it deserves your full attention. It saves you cursing the person who mentioned it? :) ;) ;D
