Epson 9900 - Printing in OS 10.6.x and PS CS5
« on: January 31, 2011, 11:12:19 am »

Hello all,

My business consists mainly of custom printing for photographers, pro and otherwise, as well as artists reproductions.  I'll be upgrading to a Mac Pro soon and PS CS5 also.  I've been paying close attention to this and another forum concerning printing issues in Snow Leopard and PS CS5, so I'd like to get some expert feedback on this subject from you good folks.  Have most of these issues been resolved in the latest version of Snow Leopard in combination with PS CS5?  I need to know what to expect so that I can keep the present workflow viable until the crossover is complete and all is good.

Any information will be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Gary

For only $2495 USD.  Trivial.

I'm thinking of going from Windows to PC later this year.  I'm also using an Epson 9900.  Are there still problems with compatability?

I think it's acceptable for a pro printmaker. It's less than ten ink carts and what you earn for a couple of missions.
