Have a look at What's New for September 21st.

Canon has not provided cameras to any reviewers yet, anywhere in the world. When they do, I expect to have one, and you can be sure that I'll let everyone know what I think of it.

Right now it's just a press release and a spec sheet.

Only Canon knows. They provided reviewers with pre-production 20Ds and yet haven't with 1Ds MKIIs.

Go figure.

Why no comment yet on the 1DsII ?

This seems unusual for you for such a landmark product (no flaming please!)

Cheers

Sorry I missed that (tend to just look at the Selected Recent Highlights list: will make a point of viewing "What's New" in the future).

So how come you got a sample of the 20D ahead of release but not the 1DsII?

Michael, will you be providing your thoughts on the 20D and what you think of it now after your trip with the production model?
