Nikon D2X would probably be ideal, but if lower resolution is OK, he could consider the D2H which is available now. If he needs the burst rate and is used to handling F5s, nothing else that is F-mount compatible is likely to satisfy.

digital questions

hello everyone.
i am personal assistant to a national fashion and commercial photographer.
don't get me wrong, he's not huge, he doesn't do runways or vogue or anything.
he has not gone digital yet, but he is considering it partially because of my influence.
right now, he is using nikon f5 bodies, and a variety of nikkor lenses, strictly at f/1.8.
what he would be looking for in a digital body is, naturally support for his nikkor lenses, he wants as close a burst rate to his f5 as he can get <8 fps> bc he shoots children quite a bit and needs that quick burst. he's not overly concerned with megapixel size he is more concerned with burst rate and lens support.
i would also like to see him get into something with microdrive support.
please advise!
