Anyone still printing on the Iris? I have always been a fan of prints made with this printer. Are the printers still available on the used market? How much should I expect to pay for a used one?

A local (Northern California) printer recently tried to sell me his Iris when I took a tour of his facility, though I don't know which model he had. He's now printing with Epson and Canon and this was gathering dust in a back room. I think it even was converted to the Cone Editions ink, if I remember right.

If you are interested, let me know and I'll forward the contact info to you and you can talk to its owner.

You don’t want an Iris! Talk about a maintenance nightmare (and where do you get parts)? Talk about a print process that that’s fugitive.

Let me know if you are interested. I've got two (3047 & 3047G). You're welcome to both of them if you're interested. ITNH in Vermont still has supplies, a few companies are still using them. They did produce very nice prints.

Did you sell the printers? I have one and am interested in getting nozzles to keep mine going. Long shot tho. Let me know anything that is pertinent.
Thanks
