Love those mountains
« on: October 21, 2010, 05:37:43 pm »

We've got one for rocks, one for clouds, and one for trees, but not one for mountains. An oversight that needs to be rectified, so ...

Tryfan, Snowdonia. A little over 3000' of scramble - you do not get to the top (from the Ogwen Lake side) with out using your hands.

A lot of effort but its obviously worth the effort.  From what I can see its a wonderful shot.  Its too small to really see any detail...for my old eyes anyway.  ;)

Nice shot. Especially like the combination of (some) blue sky with the golen foreground. I love mountains too, and here is one shot from Oman.

The mark of a true photographer is to evoke, in your images the feelings that enticed you to take them, in others.  I get this with yours.  Wonderful shots.  Ansel would be proud.

The B&W is good, but I still prefer the color version.
