Rental Hasselblad V and digital backs
« on: October 16, 2010, 03:07:49 am »

I need to send my Hasselblad V body in for CLA.

I have been recently offered a great gig and would like to use
my new Phase One back to shoot it.

Am I looking at a crapshoot in regards to focusing reliablity if
I rented a 503CW for the gig? I thought the Acute Matte D
focusing screen might help.

Thoughts?

Where are you?

Is your problem finding a body to rent of focusing it?

I am not expecting to use my 501 CM, Flexbody or 555ELD Hassy V bodies until I get a CF50... but they have not been used recently, and I was thinking of getting them CLA'd .

I am concerned about focusing accuracy. If the focusing screen is
out of alignment ,,, blurry shots.

I have access to rental bodies. Maybe I will rent one and give it
a dry run before the big day.
