Sony A850/A900 shutter actuations

Anyone out there knows how to determine how many shutter actuations the above cameras have.  Looking to buy a used body & would like this info.

Only if the previous owner set the "continuous" file numbering option from the start, and didn't make any mistakes (like putting a memory card from a different camera with a higher number in it ) and if you trust him/her.

I think it's likely Sony will have a service program to determine it, but sofar nothing in the open as far as I know.

Still after 9999 photos the counting restarts from the zero :)

Good point! I should have said: ....and if you trust him/her to tell you accurately how many times it went around the clock.  8)
