We've been doing tethered shooting with a D300 and Nikon Camera Control Pro trial. It has been working well and I was looking forward to the LR3 tethered shooting. I've not been able to find a way to duplicate the features of NCCP however. Specifically I can't find a way to do LiveView with Tripod Fine Focus mode.
I'm sure we'll upgrade to LR3 anyway but before we pop for the license for NCCP I was wondering if anyone else has found a way to get the LV/Focus mode through LR3 only? Switching between them is a bit cumbersome and NCCP is a bit clunky.
