PS Scripting

Anybody got a good resource for scripting in PS?  What I'd like to do is try to write a script to do a batch Merge to HDR Pro.  I'd like to point the script at a folder of images, have it load the first 'x' number, merge those into an HDR file and save the HDR file to disk.  Then it would go back to the folder, take the next 'x' number in sequence and repeat.
