White Balance with DPP while tethered
« on: April 28, 2010, 06:02:10 pm »

When I'm using Eos Utility to capture an image via tethered to the camera and bringing those images into DPP is there a way to set the White Balance via the eye dropper in DPP so all the incoming photos use that White Balance?  If so how do I set that up?  thanks for any help.  jeff

One of two ways:
1) Set the white balance as a custom WB setting in DPP and upload that to the camera using EOS Utility. Then set DPP to read that as the default WB setting.
2) Set the white balance as a custom WB setting in the camera and set DPP to use that as the default WB.

That's right Chris, these methods work.
