Hello,

I have CS4 on a Mac and the automatic update started to run telling me about ACR 5.7. The download worked fine, during the install process I get a message that there was a problem, asking me if I want to quit the installl, or try to install later again, etc...
I quit and downloaded again but the same problem occurs.

What could that be?

Manually download the Camera Raw 5.7 installer and try that...see recent product updates.

I have the same problem, even using the manual install. It thinks that Bridge is running, which it isn't and can't proceed because of that.

When I started to run the installer, it said 64-bit. Will that version run on 32-bit systems? I didn't see a 32-bit version available for download.

You may actually have Bridge set to launch at startup...check yo make sure it's not running in the background. If it is, end the process and try installing again.

Nope. Nothing open at all, including CS4. Actually I even tried opening CS4 and Bridge just so I could close them again and retry. It just thinks Bridge is open when it definately is not.
