Aperture 3 and Sinar STI (or converted DNG files)
« on: February 24, 2010, 05:05:00 am »

Hi there, I was wondering if anybody had a solution or suggestion for my problem.... I have just started using Aperture 3 to try and bring some order to my roughly 10tb of images, most of them shot on a Sinar 75lv in Captureshop so they are STI files. Aperture 3 does not recognise STI files at all. I then converted them to DNG using the Brumbaer DNG software and Aperture 3 still does not recognise the files? they work in Camera Raw, Bridge etc, but not Aperture??? is there a solution or fix for this? any help greatly appreciated! thanks very much, cheers adam.

I have had success using sinar exposure.  If you drag the file you want to convert to a different folder, a DNG copy of the original will be made.
