PK Sharpener and Output for Web >1024

I tried both the Pixel Genius site and this forum, but couldn't find and answer to this question.  Apologies if this a duplicate.

How can I sharpen for the web for image sizes greater than 1024?  I have a very large (5,000 pixel) file I want to post and and trying to figure out how to Output Sharpen using PK Sharpener, since it only goes to 1024.

Maybe you could use the Lightroom 3 Beta ... I'm nearly positive the output sharpening in LR is the same as PK Sharpener and pretty sure it can do what you need to do ...

I hadn't though of that as I use CS4 about 99% of the time, but that is a great idea.  Thanks!

Why are you posting an image that is 5K pixels wide on the web? Web and multimedia images are intended to be 100% in size on displays...don't know of a display that is over a 30" display (2560 x 1600).

I have a very large pano shot to post.  The interest is in the details, so the viewer doesn't need to see the whole pano at one glance. In other words, panning across the webpage is not an issue.

Thought that was the reason. Not sure if you're familiar with Zoomify - they have a free version as well. Sample from my site.

Yes, that looks like it will work quite nicely, although I'm not sure how I would do the sharpening.  I guess I would process in smaller chunks and sharpen accordingly, then let Zoomify stitch together the final image.  Thanks for the tip!!

I've been interested in this too, particularly from the point of view of digital projection. (And the fact I love PK Sharpener)

Since a HD projector can project at 1900X1080, I've been keen to have a ready means of sharpening to this res.

So any further advice is appreciated.
