I'm shopping for a camera; and while I prefer the 5d mk2 (mostly due to lens selection; including ze); one concern I have is that in most sample images I see from the 5d there is a blue tint. I can't figure out if this is due to camera setting/wb or a native behavior of the camera.
The pictures from the sony (a850/a900) look warmer and perhaps (hard to tell since this depends on the lens) have a greater tonal range. For example if you look at the iso example at luminous-landscape and look at the arm of the dummy the sony is noticably warmer. Like wise if you look at imaging-resource images and compare a850 to 5d the face (skin tone) of the person has a blue (yucky?) undertone.
Is this native to the canon; the lenses used on the canon or just the settings chosen (perhaps default jpeg setttings?)
