Question about the Epson New Driver for R2880

When I updated the Epson Driver, there is a check box next to the Mode Section when I select the Advance Black & White Printing and it is call "Generic RGB". I've tried to print with and without, I don't really see the difference. Can some one explain what it is since I couldn't find any explaination via google nor the epson website. Thanks
