In case your really interested in sharpness, etc
« on: September 12, 2009, 03:49:14 pm »

Hi!

Zeiss published a couple of articles about lens sharpness and MTF curves. It's interesting reading. They also have a set of images demonstrating the differences. The articles are not easy to find, so I made a web page with links to the different parts:

It's here: http://83.177.178.241/ekr/index.php/photoa...-and-perception

Update: Added some links to a couple of the images from article 2.

Best regards
Erik

Great articles. I learned a lot, especially about MTF curves and chromatic aberration. Thanks for posting them.
