5D MarkII viewfinder brightness adjustment?
« on: August 29, 2009, 05:16:22 pm »

Is it possible to increase the brightness of the data in the viewfinder? I have a cataract that causes a lot of glare that obscures the data with bright images and there's no way to get full exposure data on the back panel LCD that I can find (unlike my much more usable XTi).

The manual tells you how to turn on this:

http://a.img-dpreview.com/reviews/CanonEOS.../lcdmonitor.jpg

(or http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos5dmarkii/page3.asp and section "Clear View 3.0" LCD monitor")

I am not sure what else shall be shown, I find this screen show anything one might want. Besides the current MLU status, of course
