Wow. For only a $5000 premium I get a sapphire crystal and a loaner body plus a free shutter replacement? Not to mention - its a Leica!!

Kind of reminds me of a Franck Muller watch -)

a 96% viewfinder for >20 000.- USD.....i am impressed by the leica display of courage.

One would hope that QC is good enough that AF fine tuning is not needed.

All I can think is that those new lenses better be really good and I hope for them they can get the central shutter lenses with the higher sync speeds out quickly. I am however still bitter that they decided to go with the S system instead of an R10.

I'll wait till they release the 18-200mm equivalent lens before I ring the bank manager, rob the bank, or sell my body to science. Sorry I forgot, the banks recently robbed us. Where's Ken's Leica S2 review? He is slipping in his old age.
