Sticking with Canon
« on: July 14, 2009, 10:55:38 am »

Why am I sticking with Canon? 'cos business is so *^"t at the moment I don't want to spend anymore money, when things get anywhere near what I regard as normal I will cut my loses and run.
Twice Canon has had a go at making my smkIII focus, I even thought we had got somewhere, but no the last two shoots are back to square one, all I want is sharp at infinity. I've had to shoot nearly 150 images to day just to get 25 sharpish ones. It will do one shot sharp then maybe one a bit soft then another way out not in any particular order either. Yes I have micro adjusted, I'm about to do it yet again.
I can't trust this camera, it's back to the smkII for now, £4.5k for a camera that can't get the basics right, I know others to that have had enough. This is an old problem some think has gone away, well not for me it hasn't.
Rant over.
