In a word...NO.

The MC/MD lens mount is not compatible with the Minolta AF lens mount.  You can get adpater rings but you have no electronic aperture or focus control.

The flash shoe is also non compatible.

However I believe all Maxxum/Dynax/Alpha lenses will work with the new 7D as do the i/xi/HS flash units.

I've seen discussion of this topic at both the Minolta group on Yahoo as well as the KM DSLR discussion group on dpreview.com, but I never read the threads since I don't have MF lenses.  There are adapters that some people use to shoot MF lenses on Maxxum AF cameras ... it's possible that this will work with the 7D as well.  Assuming the 7D is your top choice in a DSLR.  Personally, I wouldn't let the selection of lenses that you already have drive a decision.

The good news is that early AF lenses like the 24-50/4 and 70-210/4 are of excellent quality, readily available, and not expensive

I'd like a help...
I sent an email to KM asking a basic question, but they simply did not answered me (never did!)...
I know it's a very basic question but I have this doubt: I have a Minolta SRT101 film camera with a MC Rokkor-PF f/1:1.4 58mm lens (not AF), a MC W.Rokkor-HG f/1:2.8 35mm lens (not AF), a Vivitar Macro Focusing Zoom f/1:4.5-5.6 70-210mm (not AF), a King auto 2x Teleconverter (MD) ,and a Mecablitz 181 Flash. Everything fits on my SRT101 (are properly for Minolta).
I'd like to know if will I be able to use all of this on MAXXUM 7D.

My SRT101 also have bayonet mount. Isn't all of the bayonet type mount the same (A-type)?
You mean that the autofocus and aperture won't work with theese lens, correct (manual focusing and aperture will work)? Or will the camera simply don't "see" anything?

You won't be able to mount the lenses.  The SR mount is different to the A mount.
