Bad PCB in my 1DS3

I sent my 1DS3 back, second time in eight months. The first one was the 99 cannot communicate with lens error.

This time it just wouldn't come on. I sent it 4-9 and got it back today, 4-21. Not bad.

Technical report says: PCB assembly inoperative. Replaced. They also made some adjustments to my in viewfinder right side EV indicator would jump around, up and down, before landing on the dialed setting. They said they fixed that too and did a complete check up and adjustment.

So what is the PCB assembly? Is it what I think it is, the cameras Main Board fried? I can't believe it. lol. I wonder what will be next, a battery explosion?  I really hope I have enough money to buy the new 1DS4, AFTER it goes through testing for around six months. I'm afraid I can't rely on this thing anymore. You ahve to admit, this iteration of the 1DSxxx was plagued.

I find myself very lucky I ve never had any of these issues with neither of the two 1ds III I own. It sure is very stressfull having new gear back to manufacturers all the time.
Saying that, I had similar trouble with even more expensive gear in the past (H20 digital back that was), which I finally sold and got it off my back. What I have in my mind at the
moment is that I ll stick with the Canon and the P25 till all this battle between 35mm and MFDB settles down. Next purchase I ll make will be something with the advantages of MF and the mobility of 35mm in less ridiculus prices... just saying
