Toyo VX23D 6x9 View Camera, Phase One, Schneider 58/5.6
« on: April 02, 2009, 02:55:55 pm »

NEW
I am adding my workhorse Rodenstock 135mm f/5.6 Apo-Sironar-S Lens with Copal #0 Shutter to this sale, same price.  Excellent condition, I can email photos.

Almost every great picture Ive taken was with that lens, but now I've moved to a 645 system.  Would make a great short telephoto on the VX23D

I am selling my lightly used Toyo VX23D digital back view camera.
Included:
NEW

-One Toyo-View VX23D Digital 2x3 View Camera

-One specially designed Silvetstri sliding back, with attachable 4X loupe and masked ground glass.  Very clean and lightly used.
The sliding back comes with a tailored, soft-lined nylon pouch for safe clean storage

-One Schneider Super Angulon 58mm f/5.6 XL- barely used and like-new, with lensboard.

-Kapture Group OneShot Cable Release PHA-001 for view camera with Phase One back.  Brand New- used once in the studio

This is a complete system, ready to be used- just add a Phase One DB

Asking $4500 for a lightly used/like-new set-up, that sells for $7300 +tax new

Is the Silvestri plate for a Hassy V mount back or Mamiya mount back?

The Silvestri has a Mamiya 645 mount.  It can also be detatched and rotated 90 degrees for easy vertical/horizontal orientation.

less than 48 hours left on the eBay sale.

Over $8000 (new) worth of like-new or excellent condition used equipment going for $4,500.  Or $3,750 if you are the only bidder.

Second to last bump, I promise

Nice outfit, good luck with the sale!  To clarify though, both of the lenses you are including are normal type lenses for 4x5 and not digital specific lenses, correct?

Thanks Jack,
The 58mm is the same that is often used with a focusing mount on MFDB rigs.  The 135 is a sharp 4x5 lens, the best Rodenstock ever made at that focal length.  It should work fine, and has a large image circle.  Neither has a specific "D" designation though.
None of the Super Angulon XLs are Digital specific as far as I know, although they often are used for it:
