Hello.

I like to know if I miss a video,

I was in  Epson Print Academy, and Jeff present a video the Michael show everything about matting, signing and so on

unfortunate, Jeff want to cut Michael off, and he didn't finish with the video.(everyone laughs, jeff cutting Michael off)

I can only think is from lightroom, (I don't have lightroom)

If not from lightroom, can anyone, tell me what video will be?

Thanks

Hello....

There are two places where you can find this from Luminous Landscape.

In the "From Camera to Print" video Michael demonstrates how he mats and frames a print.

You can also find a segment in LLVJ (Luminous Landscape Video Journal) #15, Bill Atkinson gives a very detailed (well pretty detailed) segment on how he uses a "speed mat" and does a double mat, signing, taping, the whole enchilada.  And they tell you what products he uses also.

So if you have either of those videos, there are those segments.

Cheers.....

P.S.  What did you think of the Epson Print Academy?  I'm going this Saturday (courtesy of a birthday gift from my super great wife!)

This video was specifically produced for Epson and is currently only available with the Epson Print Academy. The material however is mostly covered within our other videos: L-L Guide to Lightroom2 & From Camera to Print.

The epson print was great, you will enjoy it.

I have the one from camera to print, I guess the one was lightroom to, or especial for epson.

Thank you

Hello BlasR....

Thanks for the info about Epson Print Academy....sounds like fun!

If you have the "From Camera to Print", you may want to go back and look at: Chapter 23 - Matting and Framing.  It sounds like the one that they showed at the academy was done specifically for that event, but the one that you have should have all of the relevant information in it.  If you really want more details, you can also get LLVJ #15; which has the Bill Atkinson version of how to mat....as well as other pretty cool stuff.

Are you planning on making your own mats?  I make mine using a Logan "Framers Edge" which works pretty well.  Based on the printer I use (an Epson 4880), I've standardized on two standard frame sizes....an 11x14 for smaller prints and and 22x28 for my maximum size prints.  I really prefer to double mat my larger prints, but for cost reasons usually now only single mat my smaller prints.

Cheers....
