P&S macro/waterproof
« on: February 21, 2009, 06:47:14 am »

Hi everyone,

My dad is a flyfisherman, and he needs a new point and shoot camera for fishingtrips and photographing flies.
Hence, he needs both a waterproof camera that can stand being dropped in a river and have a macro-function for taking pics of flies at home.

I can find loads of waterproof cameras, but none that also have the macro-function.

Does anyone use or know a P&S camera that marries these specs?

thanks,

Mike

All can take macro photos from less than an inch away, if need be. I've used some of the Olympus Styluses and they're quite nice cameras for what they are.
