This is a thin M39 adapter (only 3 were made) that I designed for the Contax 645 auto bellows. The thickness is thin to allow some of the duplicated and enlarging lens to reach infinity on the auto bellows. Thus, it is extremely useful for product and even landscape works with the Perspective Control (PC auto bellows. The thick adapter will prevent the lens to reach infinity. The lens can be mounted in both directions to optimize the optics for the applications. The material is made from the original Contax 645 parts. Some of the lens I used for this adapters: Rodenstock Apo-Rodagon-D 5.6/120, Rodenstock Apo-Rodagon-D 4.0/75, Rodenstock Apo-Rodagon-D 4.5/75 (in reverse mode for 2 times life size). Other M39 lens mount will also work with this adapter.
