Hey Everyone,

This shot is from about a week ago up at Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Very nice,  I really like the hint of the backdrop through the mist.  Its looks bloody baltic too, how cold?

Gary.

It was very calm, and in the lower 20's.  A beautiful day to  be in the park!

Gorgeous photo of Dream Lake.  I initially thought it was black and white until further study revealed some color in a couple rocks.  Really a nice view of this oft-photographed scene.

I was immediately taken with your photograph. But then my eyes started darting around the rocks. Still a great photo, but I think it would be even better in b&w.

Thanks for the comments!!   I'll try a  B&W version and see what it looks like.

I'll second the B&W suggestion. I would also slightly crop the left side, the half cut rocks and pine tree are somewhat disturbing. Great shot, otherwise, a very cold mood.

I thought B&W when I first saw it, but then I looked at the subtle browns in the rocks and the hint of blue, especially in the upper right.  It doesn't jump out, but I think the colours add to the image.  Others are certainly welcome to disagree, and a B&W would certainly be worth trying!

Very nice. ++ on the B&W comments, I think I'd add a tiny boost to the highlights, I'm viewing this on an old laptop though...
