You'd be better served learning how to properly link an image in a web page than telling everyone to "use Firefox". A simple HTML IMG tag works just fine in every browser ever made:

Some people find problems using Internet Explorer. The page works well with Firefox.

The page seems to work with Opera, too.

I guess the problem is the usage of JavaScript, which comes in two flavors:

One portable.

One for Internet Explorer.

While producing code that's portable is laudable in itself, it's really easy to detect Internet Explorer and provide the minor magic to make it work.

But still, people should get away from that abomination ASAP.

It is written in Spanish again, and it is very negative about the DMR:

At least the photos work properly on caborian, and I agree that the DMR does not look good even compared to the 350D.

You need to see the indepth comparison on Fred Miranda forums, 100's of photos.. the DMR creams the 1dsMk2. These guys just make stupid comments about how the camera is slow to startup, battery life is short, only 2fps..... fair criticisms.. but hardly important in the overall scheme of things given the image quality and since its NOT aimed at sports photogrphers.. Its a manual focus camera! Duh.

While one can make the case that the DMR and 1Ds-MkII are reasonably equivalent at low ISO, (I've read the thread you're referring to, BTW, and the DMR doesn't "cream" the 1Ds-MkII it simply compares well to it inspite of a lower pixel count) at high ISO, the 1Ds-MkII has a definite advantage over the DMR.

The discussion on Fred Miranda is definitely a valuable source of information on the DMR. It's turning into less of a direct comparison and more of a discussion about lens selection and DNG development.

I've been following the discussion with interest and whilst I would agree that the Canon is superior at higher ISOs the DMR produces the more appealing images - now some of this is the DMR but it's also the Leica lenses and the "look" that they create.

The DMR thread indicates that it is a camera that is a different tool to say a 1d Mk II - it's purely manual focus for a start, it does not have the performance of the Canon systems and it is without doubt viciously expensive.

I've actually found the discussion on FM to be surprisingly objective and it has successfully avoided the pitfalls of descending into purely technical comparison and has concentrated instead on the resulant images.
