G10 with adpter and 0.75X wide Angle converter?

I have the G9. I want to sell it and buy the G10. I have the WC-DC58B 0.75X Wide Angle Converter for the G9
Is it possible  to attach the Canon LA-DC58H Lens Adapter to the WC-DC58B 0.75X Wide Angle lens Converter and to the G10? (and get from the 28mm > 21mm equivalent to 35mm FF)?
can the  WC-DC58B 0.75X Wide Angle, be attached with another lens adapter to the G10?

I suspect not. I just got a G10, hoping eventually to add a wide-converter. The manual that comes with the G10 has a big list of available accessories (under "System Map", p. 36). A Conversion Lens Adapter (LA-DC58K) is listed ("This adapter is is required for mounting the teleconverter to the camera") and a Teleconverter (TC-DC58D) which "Converts the focal diostance of the body lens by a factor of approximately 1.4x when attached."

Unlike the G9, there is no mention of a wide-angle (0.75) converter, alas. Also, a website for another company that makes a G9-compatible Conversion Lens Adapter (I forget the company name) suggested that their adapter won't work on the G10 because the new lens is too different, but they expect to have a G10 adapter soon. Presumably that adapter would only work with the Teleconverter, too. Canon's catalog numbers for the new Teleconverter and Adapter are different from the ones for G9.

Maybe someone else will come up with an 0.75 converter. I would sure like the additional width.

Just today I am heading out for a couple of days exploring autumn in Massachusetts. I plan to do a fair number of shots with both the G10 and my 5D for comparison. And I'll take only the G10 on one fairly substantial hike. No brick walls or newspapers, but landscapes and some closeups. I'll try to write up my impressions after I get a look at the results.

Currently, my main raw processor is DxO, which doesn't yet do the G10, so I'll probably process the 5D pix in both DxO and DPP, and the G10s in DPP.

I got the G10 as (I hope) a good walk-around camera for when I don't want to lug the 5D or don't want to look like a photographer. For that it will replace my old S60 (5 MP), which actually produced a fair number of exhibitable images. In the hand, the G10 seems very nice. Even though the viewfinder isn't 100%, the fact of an optical finder is absolutely necessary for me. It feels solid, looks nice, and the controls make sense (except for Canon's trademark no-mirror-lockup-button, which I don't expect to miss very much on this one).

My experience shooting for a couple day with the G10 mirrors the experience of the reviewer at The online Photographer, the G10 has better image quality than the G9 shooting daylight shots. The pixels are indeed better quality than the G9, less mushyness, and no smeared look on the foliage shots I did. I didn't get a chance to test low light shooting yet.

Unfortunately, my G10 copy kept locking up, and I had to remove and reinstall the battery to get it to unlock, so my first copy went back, and I'm waiting for the replacemnt to arrive now. But it's a keeper.
