Batch processing copyright LOGO's

When I shoot an event I like output my images with my name on for copyright purposes as well as advertising. I do this to multiple files by recording an action on one image and using scripts to batch this action to a folder full of files.

However I have a problem when the folder I want to batch process contains images that all have differnt crop ratio's and/or crop dimensions. What follows is my name or copyright appearing in differnt locations on each image.

So does anyone know of a way around this or is there a plugin for CS3(what I use) that im unaware of that can solve this problem?

any help or hints would be much appreciated.

Several programs can do this. I use Photo Mechanic as my main image browser, and it can add a logo or watermark in a specified location, and take into account horizontal vs. vertical prints while doing so. (Use the Save Photos As command, and the Watermark option.) I do this all the time for low-res files that I send to subjects and clients, but there's no reason why it wouldn't work for high-res printing files.

Easy - in your action, don't specify a pixel position for your logo, change it to percentage - it then tracks with the image.

Dont quite get what you mean. Could you elaborate?

When you are ready to type your watermark or insert you logo or whatever you use - go View -> rulers and right click on the rule bar to select percentage rather than pixel.  Then wherever you start typing or place your image will be set as a percentage placement and be in the same relative position for all the images you run the action on.  

So for example if you want PROOF in the center, after selecting percentage you'll see your horizontal and vertical positions change and you'll click at the 50% marks.
