Ben, just wanted to let you know that you did an outstanding job in the essay! My wife and I cracked up whilst reading your words together - your images were breathtaking.
We read the article with interest and then looked at your pbase site as we'll be over there in about a week. Looking forward to checking in on some of the places you visited. The only place I don't think we'll make it to are the West Fjords - I think we'll have to leave that for another trip.
