Need photographer for paintings in Kona, Hawaii

A client of mine needs some paintings photographed for a book. The art is in Kona, Hawaii.

I may be in that area to photograph a vacation house, but not for a couple weeks anyway. Aren't there any photographers in that area?

Ouch!  That sounds just like me, but not for another couple of months yet.  I am currently in the SF Bay Area, but in the process of moving to Kona to do fine art printing and photography, including photography for art reproduction.  

At the moment, I'm doing that as a side venture to my primary business of art direction and modelmaking for advertising photography and comercials.  By fall, I will be up and running in Kona and able to offer beautiful reproductions of art shot with my P30 on a Contax 645 system, and fine art prints made with my 44" HP Z3100.  

If your friend can wait, I'd be delighted to to speak with them at any point about their needs.

Just joking. When I go I really just want to do the vacation rental and then stay in it for a week for free, as a vacation. Not only that but I don't want to fly my studio stuff 3, 000 miles. I'm gonna take maybe 4 flash guns and some umbrellas and call it good.

Just came back from the airport and dropping my family off with one way tickets to Hawaii.  Preparing for a really long few weeks until I do the same.
