450D vs. Rebel
« on: July 06, 2008, 01:36:05 am »

In the USA we have the Rebel with a 12MP sensor. Overseas there is the 450D. What would be a good source to pick up a 450D? I am not interested in weather resistance, but rather user interface. The cameras both use the same sensor. What is the big difference between the two cameras?

You mean RebelXSi, don't you?
The one and only difference is the name. Go figure why.

They're the same camera.  What user interface features are you looking for?  If you're interested in the step up line's UI, the 40D is down to $940.  (Last I checked.)

450D = Xsi
400D = Xti
350D = XT
300D = Rebel

They get much funnier names in Asia. Kiss digital...
