Setting EOS Utility to network destination folder

Hey guys, Im running VMware Fusion and trying to use EOS utility on the windows side to set a destination on the mac side of things so lightroom can see it. However I can look up the folder I want and see it, EOS Utility wont allow me to click ok or accept it... anyone tried this or have a solution??

EOS Utility doesn't do this, but on the mac side you can use EOS utility to watch to the windows side. Lightroom can't watch to windows side from the mac part.

Thanks for the reply Hans, could you give me some more details on how to do this??? If I am using EOS in conjunction with Lightroom?

The workflow I want to achieve si the following

Images captured using VMware fusion to utilize faster USB Drivers, they somehow are put on the mac side of things, they are imported into Lightroom.

If anyone is using this system how do you find it for speed? and reliability?

You need a FAT32 partition in order for both Windows and Mac OS to read and write files.

Will EOS Utility write to the mapped Z: drive on the fusion side?
