how to change diopster on 1ds Mark III

hey there

how do i change the diopter for the 1ds Mark III? im used to the 5d and the clicky wheel right next to the eyepeice. can anyone help me out?

You need to remove the eyecup, and you can see the adjustment wheel - I frankly find it cumbersome to hit the sweet spot. It's actually the only slight step backwards I have experienced from the 1DsII, and can't figure out why they changed it, though there's probably some obscure reason ...

Probably because the diopter wheel on the I and II series bodies need to be taped in place or they get readjusted for you in your camera bag.

Interesting - I never had that problem with my 1DsII. I do like the fact it's under the eyecup, but I find adjusting the wheel very cumbersome as it is currently laid out.
