Has anyone out there ever had any experiences with the Sandisk Extreme Ducati line of CF Cards? If yes, what do you think of them?Would you highly recommend them?Would it be worth getting a couple of the Sandisk Extreme Ducatis over the Sandisk Extreme III or Extreme IV CF Cards if I were using a Canon 40D and I shoot a lot of Action Sports where speed is important?
Thanks.

I just got back from a 3 day shoot at Mount Buffalo in Australia - shooting in conditions ranging from 0 to -5 degrees celsius with a Canon 1DS MKIII and SanDisk Ducat Extreme Edition CF cards.
I was snowed on [got lost in a blizzard actually], rained on, sleeted on, nearly blown away one day and even had a little sunshine. My camera gear was wet, freezing and put seriously to the test.
The Camera performed flawlessly - and despite my concerns I shot the entire 3 days on 1 battery and never once had to warm it. Phenomenal performance.
Now to answer your question: My CF cards didnt miss a beat. I shot around 300 frames a day and swapped cards in the field - no problem whatsoever. Now I didnt use them for their write speeds, but their reliability is unquestionable in my experience.
Hope this helps.
