The back side of the glass on my M1 is a bit cloudy and has some dust particles
Has any one found a way to give the glass a good cleaning?

it's removable. See your manual. Very simple and nice design. Wish Epson was as easy.

Marc - reviews for the M1 seem sparse and incomplete. Do you use it for 35mm negs? How would you compare it to a dedicated film scanner such as a Nikon Coolscan V. the only reason I've not pulled the trigger on a coolscan V is a lack of funds but I would like to know nonetheless!

I have yet to put it to the test on film! Been real busy, but I have scanned some of my wife's art work with the flat bed with outstanding results. Sometime I will get to the 35mm and 4x5's collecting dust! The Mamiya/P30 is just too easy!
