How to Charge D2x on Safari
« on: June 11, 2008, 01:05:28 pm »

I am thinking of going on a Safari, part of which will necessitate being away from an electricity source for several days.  Are there any alternatives to taking lots of heavy and expensive batteries for my D2x - i.e. solar chargers etc. that might work?

Anyone had any experience and tips they can pass on?

Cigarette lighter charger (assuming you'll be in a vehicle).

pflower: go to Thom Hogans website where he has an article titled "Charging in the Wild" that outlines one way to do this. The URL is www.bythom.com
