Photo Paper for Business Cards?
« on: June 03, 2008, 07:06:50 pm »

I am printing with an Epson 3800.  Is there a decent photo paper with pre-cut business cards? I have used the Avery Business Card paper and find the colors are not correct for my Epson paper profiles.

I use Avery 8879, convert to sRGB, Epson 875 dye ink printer and let printer manage the color.

I use Museo II, A3+ with a custom profile on an Epson 9800.
With care, registration is fine and cards look quite classy.
There are a few double sided papers available. I guess choice depends on what sort of business the cards are for.
The cards are not precut, so  I set up marks and cut with a knife .
Cheers,
Brian

Sams Club has Royal Bright Business Cards in matte.  Looks like they are lasar scored for easy separation. Ten cards per sheet and 100 sheets.  Cost about $5.50 or so.  Considering they are matte, colors will not look great but the price is right.

The heavier Hahnemule wWillia Turner looks great when overlaminated with a thin glossy film, spray might work too. Peter
