Epson 3800/Mac OS. Can't make A2+/17x25" prints
« on: May 29, 2008, 07:16:21 pm »

I have been struggling for some time to successfully make an A2+ / 17x25" print, borderless or otherwise.

Unfortunately the Epson Mac OS Tiger driver doesn't support this size.  No problem I thought.  I'll make a custom size in LR and or PS.  Everything is fine with soft-proofing so to the A4 print proof process.

The problem is that I only ever get a small 15cm/6" portion of the image and I'm starting to get irritated having to 'test' A2+ sheets of Harman's excellent Gloss FB AL.

I have made sure my units (cm) are correctly aligned in the system, LR and PS.

Any ideas?  I'd love to print some A2+ images with and without a border.

You can't print borderless to custom sizes - it only works with the driver pre-defined sizes.

So the best you can print borderless is A2 (not A2+).  If you want to print on A2+ the best will be with a 3mm border.
