DxO V5 on Mac
« on: April 30, 2008, 04:08:54 am »

Dear all,

I started to play yesterday with beta of DxO V5 for Mac.

Some small instabilities with some dialogboxes, but overall it seems much better that the first batch for Windows.

My first tests were very basic though, more in the coming days.

Cheers,
Bernard

I'm interested and have given it a test run.  I've found that the TIFF and JPEG outputs are fine but the DNG output contains what looks like only red channel information.  This has happened on a MacBook Pro running the latest OS-X and on an iMac running the previous OS-X.

DxO is not essential for my photography and for the moment I don't have the time or need to pursue this issue.  So I'll go back and check in a while to see if a new Beta is available and whether that resolves the situation.

More test has revealed that, on my Mac Pro 10.4, the Tiff generated cannot be read by CS3...

The jpg work fine and the output is nice indeed.
