Panos on R1800 longer than 44" ??

Epson has a 44" limit on length however CS2 will print longer than 44" when you use user defined paper size.  I can not make CS3 do anything longer than 44"

Any ideas?

It's my understanding that CS3 unlike the earlier version takes some data from the printer settings (the way it's always worked on a mac) thus limiting you to the printers size limit  (although I might be wrong)   Wayne

Neither do I - I got a "some error occured" or other cryptic error message when I tried to print an image longer than about 44 or 45" (my limit was 115cm, for those living in the civilized world   ).
Note that the drivers allows, though, to set a paper length up to 3.27 meters (128")! Seems like Epson likes making bad-taste jokes to its customers...

I by-passed that @%£§! limitation simply printing with Qimage (whole image, no banner mode), but did not go farther than 125cm (50") yet.

You should try Qimage.  With Qimage, there is no practical limit to image size when doing panos with rolls.  It is a very well regarded, if a bit archane, tool that many pros use.  It's print sharpening is better than photoshop, and it has a fully color managed workflow.
