canon EOS viewer for 5d or 1dsmIII
« on: March 26, 2008, 10:30:37 am »

i recently read a post about shooting tethered to lightroom via the canon EOS viewer. Since capture one isnt working with the 1dsmkIII yet this would be a good walk around for me for the time being. The only problem being that I cant find the download to the EOS Viewer on the canon site, nor is it on the disc i recieved with my 5D. am i looking in the wrong places, anyone?

You shouldn't have to use eos viewer with 1dsMK3. Do a full install from the software cd. When you plug in your camera via usb the eos utility will pop up and ask you what you want to do, then pick remote shooting.

If you want the new Viewer (all software in fact)

start with this link

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controll...ownloadIndexAct

Select your camera etc

Next page you need to select your OS before you will see the software that is available for download.
