Lightroom vs.CS3 softproof
« on: March 14, 2008, 12:28:00 pm »

I have been printing with an Epson 3800 and Epson Prem. Luster. Printer control of color is off. Viewsonic P225f CRT calibrated with PhotoCal Spyder, ( I know , archaic implements by todays standards ). Printing from LR is not a bad match to the monitor . Same file sent to CS3 and soft proofed needs new color balance . Without new color adj. in CS3 the print reflects the soft proofed screen. Is LR optimized for printing ? Does it have a special way of interpolating the ICC profile? To save time in CS3 should one do all of the color management in soft proof mode.
