Can I ask why you chose the Phase One P30+ instead of a different model or a Leaf or Sinar or Hassy or.... Just a brief answer would be great, not looking to create a thread of arguments, just looking for your thoughts.

My reasoning...
Already was familiar with Mamiya and I actually had no way to try anything before I bought it so I researched and researched and a lot of help from people in here helped me a lot.
I also DID NOT like the Leaf Battery and Fan deal.. threw me off.
I also had a good offer for a whole package including RZII lens and the P30 back used with 1 Year warranty. That also helped a lot.
Where I live Unfortunately it is in South America and they are backwards ass here..
Everything is a pain in the butt here, starting with the clients do not Pay extra for anything, VERY ANNOYING.
So I could not factor in the cost and went with the best deal at the time I could get.
Also from shopping around on the net I finally came to the conclusion the P30 which I have Not the + series, was the most durable of the backs. I never came across anybody that had any problems with theirs...
Sending in and out of customs here is a pain in the butt so I wanted the least trouble possible.
Also I have been using C-1 by Phase with my Canons since the Beginning and always like to the RAW converter.
I am actually thinking about either moving up to the P30+ series...
Unfortunately , Again, where I live my clients do not pay more for having Better equipment so I have to eat the cost which are HIGH. Especially down here.
I would love to have Phase some how sponsor me and would love to get a discount to move up to the P30+...Yeh I know it probably won't happen, But Leaf has contacted in the past to have some kind of Sponsor ship but nothing has been concrete.
I basically went with Phase because I thought it would be the one with less troubles in the long run.
I have an offer right now to trade up my P30 for a P30+ and new Phase camera kit for 13,500 usa $ more or less but I really have not made any profit from the P30 to be able an upgrade..
South America is not the Money making market....
I do fine, but all extras are b/c I want or need them.
I go against guys shooting 5D's for the same Price range...
Again b/c the Clients are stupid here....:+}

PS. wanted to add...
There are so many bonehead people in the agencies (art directors/retouchers) usually screw up the files before they get printed whether it is from a 5D or a P45 with all the photoshopping and not watching how the Blacks are going to print up and they screw the image up 90% of the time..
