Does Leaf's WiView work with an Aptus 17?

Leaf´s release notes for Live Capture 11 (& WiView) omit the Aptus 17 from the list of compatible models (which does include the Valeo 17Wi). Is this deliberate?

What is the recommended capture software for an Aptus 17?

Will WiView work with all Aptus 17s without modification?
